At Home Ready Pros, we recently tackled a complete transformation for an investor looking to get a neglected property market-ready. The home had accumulated layers of deferred maintenance over time, revealing numerous hidden issues beneath the surface. We began by addressing water damage and mold, replacing subflooring throughout the home to restore its structural integrity. Next, we thoroughly cleaned out the air vents, which were filled with debris and even garbage, ensuring optimal air quality and system efficiency. One of the major challenges was replacing the interior framing on all windows, as the wood had suffered severe rot and deterioration.

We also handled extensive framing and wall replacements, reinforcing key structural elements and preparing the home for a new interior. In the crawlspace, we installed a vapor barrier to prevent moisture buildup and further damage. The exterior received just as much attention—damaged decking materials were replaced, vinyl siding was repaired and replaced where needed, and the entire home was given a fresh coat of paint, including all trim, walls, and ceilings, to brighten and modernize the space. Inside, new carpets were installed, adding comfort and appeal. Additionally, we upgraded the exterior by installing gutters and replacing the old roof with a brand-new one. To complete the transformation, we hauled away over two tons of debris, giving the home a clean, polished appearance.
